Mi nombre es Ana Sofía Camarga y vengo de la Ciudad de Panamá, Panamá. Últimamente, me inspira el pensamiento posthumanista feminista y las relaciones simbióticas entre nuestros parientes humanos y más que humanos. Me atraen los conceptos de nostalgia y efimeridad y su rol en el mantenimiento de estas relaciones. Este interés me ha llevado a utilizar procesos fotográficos alternativos, instalaciones de arte, medios digitales, poesía y trabajo colectivo para especular sobre cómo nos comunicamos dentro de los ecosistemas, urbanos y rurales, virtuales y tangibles, que habitamos.

En mi tiempo libre, tomo siestas con mi gata.

My name is Ana Sofía Camarga and I am from Panama City, Panama. Lately, I am inspired by feminist post-humanist thought and the symbiotic relationships within our human and more-than-human kin. I am drawn to the concepts of nostalgia and ephemerality involved in sustaining these relationships. This interest has led me to use alternative photographic processes, installation art, digital media, poetry, and collective work to speculate about how we communicate within the ecosystems, urban and rural, virtual and tangible, that we inhabit.

In my spare time, I take naps with my cat.
